The AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship guarantees accommodation at AUT’s Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation, located in the heart of Auckland, just a minute’s walk from the AUT City Campus, offering quality, modern self-study accommodation.

Eligibility Criteria for Accommodation Scholarships for International Students
New to AUT or new to the program, full-fee international students who are completing an undergraduate or postgraduate (excluding doctoral programs) degree program of at least 120 credits or an undergraduate pathway program at AUT.
- Applicants must be full-fee international students (Note: International students are students who are not citizens, permanent residents, or holders of resident visas of New Zealand or Australia).
- New AUT applicants or new program applicants must have a current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study in the AUT program (minimum 120 points) full-time from the 1st semester of 2023.
- Applicants enrolled in the program with less than 120 points who intend to continue their studies with a bachelor’s degree can apply.
- Doctoral students are excluded and are not eligible for a scholarship.
- Applicants are required to declare whether they have applied for other forms of scholarships both internally (i.e. awarded by AUT) and externally (e.g. government scholarships). The selection committee will take this into account.
Application process
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is providing accommodation scholarships to financially support new AUT students and new programs for international students for the first semester of 2023 on their way to becoming great AUT graduates. The first 250 students to accept the scholarship offer will receive an AUT International Student Accommodation Scholarship.
